The Karnickelberg is a 26 meter high elevation in the municipality of Kemnitz in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in the northeast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located around 1.5 km southeast of the Rappenhagen district and, like most of the elevations in the region, arose during the Vistula ice age .
