Karu järv (järv = lake) is a natural lake in the rural municipality of Kanepi in Põlva County on mainland Estonia . The village of Krüüdneri is located on the shore of the 1.7 hectare lake and 47.6 kilometers away is the 3555 km² lake Peipsi-Pihkva järv.
