Caruncle
Caruncle (from Latin caruncula , 'small piece of meat') denotes in medicine:
- a protrusion of the mucous membrane of the female urethra, see prolapse
- a nodular elevation in the inner (nasal) corner of the eyelid, see tear caruncle
- Bump-shaped, glandular formations of the endometrium in ruminants, see Endometrium #Endometrium in non-primates
- a fold of skin in the area of the anus, see Mariske
