Kaspar Cherasian

Kaspar (Amira) Tscherasian († April 29, 1821 in Constantinople ) was financial advisor to Tepedelenli Ali Pasha . He was the grandfather of Minas Tscheras and Kaspar Tscheras . Kaspar (Amira) Tscherasian took part in the interdenominational Armenian assembly of October 23, 1817 of Kurutscheschme. After Sultan Mahmud II accused Ali Pasha of treason , Kaspar (Amira) Tscherasian was the victim of an intrigue. He was executed on April 29, 1821 at the gate of the Valide Han.
