The Kassel School for Ceramics is an artist collective founded at the Kassel Art College .

history

The university professor Walter Popp taught from 1954 to 1977 at the Kassel Art College in the ceramics department . Under the influence of Walter Popp, the Kassel Art College became one of the most important training centers for ceramists. The "Kassel School for Ceramics" founded by Walter Popp produced such important ceramists as Ralf Busz , Dieter Crumbiegel , Robert Sturm , Heidi Kippenberg , Peter Lakotta , Wolfgang Heyne and Konrad Quillmann .
