Katarzyna Borowicz

Katarzyna Weronika Borowicz (born June 28, 1985 in Ostrów Wielkopolski ) is a Polish beauty queen and presenter .

Life

Katarzyna was born in the small Polish town of Ostrów Wielkopolski, where she still lives today. There is a great enthusiasm for music in the city and especially in her family, which is why Katarzyna has attended one of the city's many music schools since she was eight. Here she learned to play the piano and discovered her joy in music. Over time, she discovered her love for dancing and joined a dance and aerobics group. At the age of 16, she was offered a modeling job and accepted the offer.

In 2004 she was elected Miss Poland . As the winner of the title of Queen of Europe , she also took part in the competition for the title of Miss World in the same year , which she completed as the fourth of 107 candidates.

In 2006 she finished second in the Miss Europe election and made a guest appearance on the Polish TV series Plebania .

She studied journalism and humanities at the University of Humanities and Cultural Studies in Poznan . Since May 2007 she has been working for the Polish TV broadcaster Lech Poznań , where she presents her own program “Babskim okiem” (From a women's perspective ).
