Katharina Krieger
Katharina Krieger (* 1959 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ).
biography
Krieger has completed training as a teacher as well as an editorial traineeship.
As a member of the Education and Science Union (GEW), Krieger was an editor. She was a member of the board of the Left Party.PDS and in 1994 became the party's state chairman in Bremen. She was involved in the development of the state program for the creation of livelihood-securing jobs and a publicly funded employment sector (ÖBS) instead of € 1 jobs as well as the implementation of a state development plan for publicly responsible education. Politically she is active for the left (as of 2013) in Findorff .
She is an organizational officer at the GEW.
