Katharina Rieter
Katharina Rieter († 1410 ) was abbess of the Himmelkron monastery in 1410 .
Life
Katharina came from the Rieter von Kornburg family . This family belonged to the Nuremberg patriciate, but was also part of the free imperial knighthood. An inscription in the choir of the Rieterkirche in Kalbensteinberg reminds of Katharina as successor of Katharina Förtsch von Thurnau and that she died immediately after the election. She is one of a number of abbesses who only worked for a few years.
