Katja Bluhm (* 1974 in Neubrandenburg ) is a German children's book author.
Life
Katja Bluhm works as a conceptor and designer at the advertising agency 1punkt7 in Neubrandenburg.
Wawu the witch
In 2016 her first children's book, Witch Wawu and the Missing Dream Broom, was published by Nordkurier Mediengruppe . The illustrator is Stephanie Wunder . According to his own statement, the ideas for the book series came from Bluhm's little son, who does not like to fall asleep in the dark and therefore always has a nice story read to him in the evening.
In the same year, the second part, Witch Wawu and the Mysterious Sign , appeared, followed in 2017 by Witch Wawu and the stolen colors .
Uckermark TV developed an animated film based on the debut Hexe Wawu and the missing dream broom , which was nominated for the German Regional Television Award 2017 in the audience award category. The film was also released on DVD.
