Katrin Glenz (* 1977 as Katrin Haag, also known as Kat - stylized self-spelling in capital letters and with a dot: KAT. ) Is a German singer from Frankfurt am Main .
Life
Katrin Glenz first learned the profession of nurse before she became successful as a musician under the pseudonym Kat . Kat made her live debut in front of 4,000 visitors in the opening act for Pink in Hamburg's Stadtpark. In 2005, at the age of 27, she finally released her debut album, Polaroid Of Truth . This was preceded by musical tours through Europe and South Africa as well as engagements as a singer for the Bakings of various musicians. In collaboration with pianist Thomas Wahl , she released a Christmas album the following year, entitled How should I receive you? . In September 2007 her second studio album was released under the title Sehnsucht - in contrast to the debut exclusively in German.
Katrin Glenz has been a soloist with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt since 2003 .
