Katrin Rehak-Nitsche , née Rehak (* 1978 in Berlin ), is a German politician ( SPD ). She is a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate and chair of the Rhineland-Palatinate Science Forum.

education and profession

Katrin Rehak-Nitsche studied geography (major), Egyptology (minor) and business administration (minor) at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1998 to 2004. From 2005 to 2008 she worked as a research assistant in the field of tectonic geomorphology at the GeoForschungsZentrum and the University of Potsdam, where she received her doctorate in geology in 2008.
