Katsushi Kajii ( Japanese 梶 居 勝 志 , Kajii Katsushi ; born July 11, 1963 in Kagoshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kajii learned to play soccer on the school team at Kagoshima Jitsugyo High School and the university team at Osaka University of Commerce . He signed his first contract with Matsushita Electric in 1986 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . At the end of the 1986/87 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. In 1987/88 he was runner-up in Division 2 with the club and was promoted to Division 1. In 1990 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Matsushita Electric became Gamba Osaka . For the club, he completed 102 top division games. At the end of 1992 he ended his career as a football player.
