Kattrin Jadin

Kattrin Jadin (born July 1, 1980 in Liège ) is a Belgian politician of the Party for Freedom and Progress (PFF), of which she is also chairman.

Live and act

Jadin attended the Royal Athenaeum in Eupen and graduated from high school in 1998. From 1998 to 2001 she studied law at the University of Liège. From 2001 to 2003 she completed a licentiate in political science and international relations at the University of Liège with a master's thesis on "The European policy of harmonization of higher education - the Bolognia process and its effects."

Jadin was Provincial Councilor in the Province of Liège and a member of the municipal council in Eupen .

Since September 2009 she has been chairman of the East Belgian Liberal Party for Freedom and Progress (PFF).

Since June 10, 2007 she has been a member of the Belgian Chamber of Deputies for the liberal Mouvement Réformateur party of the current Belgian Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès , of which the PFF is one of the member parties . She is the only member of the Chamber from the German-speaking community . In May 2019 she was re-elected as a member of the Chamber.

Since December 2018 she has been a lay judge for business, medium-sized businesses, retail, tourism and city management in the city of Eupen .
