Kattwyk or Kattwyk Peninsula , sometimes also imprecise Kattwyk Island is a peninsula on the Elbe island Hohe Schaar in Hamburg - Wilhelmsburg and today part of the Port of Hamburg .

The Kattwyk Bridge , which connects the Hohe Schaar with Moorburg at the southern end of the peninsula, is named after her . There is also the Kattwykhafen south of the peninsula .

Today the BLG car terminal of the BLG Logistics Group is located on the Kattwyk peninsula , a central transshipment point for new and used vehicles to Asia, America and Europe.
