UAB Kauno autobusai is a bus company in the second largest Lithuanian city of Kaunas , one of the oldest transport companies in Lithuania.
history
The first bus company was founded in Kaunas on February 8, 1934. Up to this time one transported with diligence , then with horse-drawn tram , narrow-gauge railway . There were individual buses. In 1937 the company had 44 passenger vehicles. In 1939 there were 70 buses, mostly Mercedes-Benz cars. In 1950 the company became "Kauno autobusų-taksimotorų parkas". In 1956 there were 177 buses.
