Deposit credit

The deposit credit is in Switzerland the name given to guarantee loans ( Kreditleihe ) in banking or deposit insurance in the insurance industry .

Banks or insurers stand as surety or guarantor under the deposit credit to their customers. These include in particular deposit guarantee , Ausbietungsbürgschaft , Bietungsbürgschaft , performance guarantee , performance guarantee , rental guarantee , tax guarantee , performance bond , payment guarantee , customs guarantee or the appropriate guarantees . In this case, the customers are not provided with liquidity ( money ) as in the case of money lending , but the institutes are liable for a certain obligation of their customer.

Demarcation

The term deposit credit is in no way related to the deposit as a security deposit , for example when financing the rental deposit . This can be done via an overdraft facility or a current account credit without the deposit credit having established itself as an independent type of credit .
