Cavalry Telegraph

The cavalry telegraph is the general name given to the equipment of the cavalry for telegraphic purposes.

In the German army, these included:

• a patrol apparatus
  • microphone
  • Vibration alarm (vibrator)
  • Phone with battery in a box
• wire
• Tools
• crampon
• Linen etc.

All together weighed about 35 kg and was carried on a pack horse .
