Kay Jacobs

Kay Jacobs (* 1961 in Kiel ) is a German lawyer and writer .

Life

Jacobs studied law, philosophy and economics in Kiel and Tübingen. He then did his doctorate on corporate co-determination. Since 1992 he has worked as a lawyer in various North German law firms. Since 2014 he has published novels regularly.

In October 2018 he was awarded the Silver Homer for his historical crime novel “Kieler Helden” .

Jacobs is married. He lives with his family on the Baltic Sea.
