Kazuya Iio ( Japanese 飯 尾 和 也 , Iio Kazuya ; born April 10, 1980 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Iio learned to play football in the Verdy Kawasaki youth team . He signed his first contract with Verdy Kawasaki in 1999 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2000 he moved to the second division club Vegalta Sendai . In 2001 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 60 games. He then played for Okinawa Kariyushi FC and Shizuoka FC . In 2005 he moved to the second division Sagan Tosu . For the club he completed 197 games. In 2011 he moved to league rivals Yokohama FC . In August 2011 he moved to third division Matsumoto Yamaga FC . At the end of the 2011 season, the club rose to the J2 League. For the club he completed 64 games. At the end of 2014, he ended his career as a football player.
