Keedy

Keedy (* 26 July 1965 as Kelly Ann Keedy in Abilene , Texas ) is an American dancer and musician who in 1991 with the pop -Song "Save Some Love" was her only hit and thus a classic " One- Hit-Wonder "represents.

Career

Keedy's debut album "Chase The Clouds" was released in 1991 and received consistently good reviews. Their first single "Save Some Love" was a top 20 hit in the USA (15th place in week 14/1991). The second single "Wishing on the Same Star" was less successful, which is mainly due to the fact that the record company Arista did not do any promotion. After a while the project was completely stopped by the record company and Keedy left Arista.

Keedy went back to Wisconsin , where she continued to make music. In the mid-1990s, she joined a local cover band called "The Orphans" . After leaving this band, Keedy formed the duo "The LuvByrds" with her husband Royce Hall . Both perform together to this day and publish their demos on their MySpace website.

  • The song "Save Some Love" appears in the movie Decision for Love and is also listed in the credits at the end of the film, but was not released on the soundtrack.
