The Keisarryggen ( Norwegian for Kaisergrat , formerly Wilhelmryggen ) is a 2 km long mountain ridge in the western part of the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic . It extends in a north-south orientation between the Nyrøysa gravel plain in the west and the Wilhelm II plateau in the east.
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1985. It is obviously named after the German Kaiser Wilhelm II (1959–1941).
