The Wilhelm II Plateau ( Norwegian Wilhelmplatået ) is a 3 km long and 700 m wide plateau in the western part of the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic . The plateau lies between the Keisarryggen and the Skoddenuten .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1980. It is obviously named after the German Kaiser Wilhelm II (1859–1941).
