The Skoddenuten ( Norwegian for fog peak ) is a 665 m high hill or rock ledge on the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic . It rises north-northeast of the Lykketoppen and northwest of the Randtoppen on the east side of the Wilhelm II plateau .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1985.
