Tetsuya Okayama ( Japanese 岡山 哲 也 , Okayama Tetsuya ; born August 27, 1973 in Aichi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Okayama learned to play soccer on the school team at Chukyo University Chukyo High School . He signed his first contract with Nagoya Grampus Eight in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1996 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. In 1995 and 1999 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 278 first division games. In 2005 he moved to league rivals Albirex Niigata . For the club he completed 28 first division games. In 2007 he moved to Albirex Niigata (Singapore) . At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
