Nyrøysa ( Norwegian ) is a plain overlaid with rubble on the Esmarch coast in the west of the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island . It is located southeast of the Norris Reef and south of Lake Selbadet on the west wind beach .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1980.
