The Westwind Beach ( Norwegian ; English Westwind Beach , Westwind Beach ) is a 1.5 km long beach at the northern end of the Esmarch coast in the west of the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic . It is upstream of the Nyrøysa gravel plain .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1980.
