Ippei Watanabe ( Japanese 渡 辺 一 平 , Watanabe Ippei ; born September 28, 1969 in Aichi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Watanabe learned to play soccer on the school team at Chukyo University Chukyo High School and the university team at Osaka University of Commerce . He signed his first contract with Yokohama Flügels in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1993 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 69 first division games. In 1996 he moved to league rivals Júbilo Iwata . In 1997 he moved to league competitor Vissel Kobe . For the club he completed 18 first division games. In 1998 he moved to the second division Mito Hollyhock . In 1999 he moved to league rivals Yokohama FC . 1999 and 2000 he was with the club champion of the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 24 games. At the end of 2000 he ended his career as a soccer player.
