Selbadet ( Norwegian for seal bath ) is a lake on the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic . It is located north of the Nyrøysa gravel plain at the northern end of the Esmarch coast .

Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1980.
