Keith Taylor

Keith Taylor (born August 1, 1953 in Rochford ) is a British politician and member of the European Parliament . He is a member of the Green Party of England and Wales and of The Greens / European Free Alliance in the European Parliament .

Taylor worked in sales between 1972 and 1980 . From 1980 to 1999 he worked independently or as co-director of a local company. Between 2002 and 2007 he was the regional liaison officer for Caroline Lucas , MEP. He was also the chairman of the Association of Green Party Council members between 2001 and 2002. From 2004 to 2008 he was the main speaker for the Green Party of England and Wales and from 2008 to 2010 he was a speaker on planning and regeneration. On the Brighton and Hove City Council , Taylor was a member of the Brighton and Hove City Council from 1999 to 2010 and Chairman of the Green Councilors between 2000 and 2008.

Taylor is a member of the Committee on International Trade , the Committee on Transport and Tourism and the Delegation for Relations with Afghanistan of the European Parliament . He is also a deputy in the Committee on Petitions , in the Delegation for relations with the Palestinian Legislative Council and in the Delegation for relations with Iran .

Keith Taylor replaced Caroline Lucas in the European Parliament in 2010. Caroline left the European Parliament because she was the first Green elected to the House of Commons .
