The SG Kelkheim Lizzards is a German flag football club
history
The association was founded in 2001. In 2002 the Lizzards took part in association championships for the first time and were a founding member of the "SFL" (Senior Flag League Hessen). In 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2013 the German Indoor Flag Bowl (GIFB) was won. They were runner-up in the DFFL's German Flag Bowl in 2002, 2005 and 2008.
In the years 2006-2008, the Kelkheim Lizzards were nominated by the association as the German national flag football team. In 2007 you won the European runner-up title. In the newly founded 5er DFFL , the Lizzards reached 2nd place in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2019 they won the German Flag Open XIV, the open German championship in flag football of the AFVD.
The U16 team competes in the U16 flag league center of the AFVH and was able to achieve the title of Hessian indoor champion in 2017, 2018 and 2019. The U13 team starts in the U13 flag league center of the AFVH. You were in the final of the flag league middle in summer 2018 and only just missed the title. In winter 2018/2019 the young Flag Footballers won the Hessian championship title.

- Lizzards U16 Juniors: Mixed team for children and teenagers between 13 and 16 years.
- Lizzards U13 Juniors: Mixed team for children and teenagers between 10 and 13 years.
- Lizzards U10 Juniors: Mixed team for children between 6 and 10 years.
In cooperation with the Center for University Sports (ZfH) of the Goethe University Frankfurt , the Lizzards also offer training for students.
