Kelley Puckett

Kelley Puckett (* 1961 ) is an American comic book writer and editor .

Life and work

Puckett began working as an editor for the US publisher DC Comics in the early 1990s . After co- authoring the series The Question Quarterly as co-author of Dennis O'Neil , he was given the writing duties for the series The Batman Adventures , which he wrote from 1993 to 1997.

In addition, he acted in the later 1990s and early 2000s as editor for the series Detective Comics , Nightwing and Green Arrow as well as various special projects such as the one-shot Batman / Phantom Stranger . Authors whose work he edited included Chuck Dixon , Alan Grant and Devin Grayson .

From 2000 to 2003, Puckett wrote the series Batgirl , illustrated by Damian Scott , whose title heroine, Cassandra Cain, he himself invented in a 1999 Batman story. Another well-known comic figure created by Puckett is Connor Hawke - after Oliver Queen, the second character who goes on the hunt for criminals under the name Green Arrow in the comic series of the same name with a bow and arrow.
