Kelly Hill Caves

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kelly Hill Caves are a system of caves in Kelly Hill Conservation Park on Kangaroo Island in Australia (in the state of South Australia ).

The cave , discovered in 1880, is accessible on guided tours. There are both normal show cave tours on fixed paths and cave tours in undeveloped parts of up to three hours.

Numerous bones of animals that have died out or no longer exist on the island have been found in the caves.

There are many sinkholes in the associated park , a sign of the strong karstification of the area.
