Kelvin Love

Kelvin Love (* 1978 ) is a retired American football player .

Life

Love played as a wide receiver at Mississippi State University in 1998 and 1999 . In 2000, the 1.95 meter long player was signed by the NFL team Arizona Cardinals , but he was not used in a league game.

In 2002 Love moved to the Braunschweig Lions in the top German division, the GFL . He played continuously for Lower Saxony until the end of the 2008 season. The American won the German championship with the team in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and the Eurobowl in 2003 . Love was German runner-up with Braunschweig in 2003 and 2004. Love set several records at the Lower Saxony, among other things he sat at the top of the club rankings with 147 touchdowns , and his 930 points were the Braunschweig high at the time of his departure. In January 2009, Love's contract was terminated by the Braunschweig Lions after the American was sentenced to a fine by a court for shoplifting but did not pay the fine, whereupon the Braunschweig public prosecutor issued an arrest warrant for Love.
