Kenan Kılıç

Kenan Kılıç (* 1962 in Istanbul , mostly written Kiliç or Kilic in German-speaking countries ) is a Turkish director , author and producer .

Life

In 1981 Kılıç came to Austria , where he worked as an actor and musician . He came to film as an employee of the ORF broadcast Heimat, Fremdte Heimat . He has been making short films as a freelance director since 1990 ; his first feature film Nachtreise was awarded the Vienna Film Prize at the Viennale 2002 . Kenan Kılıç lives as a director and author in Vienna.
