Kenji Itō ( Japanese 伊藤 健 次 , Itō Kenji ; born June 29, 1976 in Mie Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Itō learned to play soccer on the school team at Yokkaichi Technical High School . He signed his first contract with Cosmo Oil Yokkaichi FC in 1995 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1997 he moved to the first division club Nagoya Grampus Eight . In 1999 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club, he completed five first division games. In 2000 he moved to the third division Jatco FC . At the end of 2000 he ended his career as a soccer player.
