Kensaku Abe ( Japanese 阿 部 謙 作 Abe Kensaku ; born May 13, 1980 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Abe learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Daiichi High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with Ventforet Kofu in 2003 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 69 league games. In 2005 he was loaned to the first division club Vissel Kobe . In August 2005 he returned to Ventforet Kofu. At the end of the 2005 season, the club rose to the J1 League . At the end of the 2007 season, the club rose again from the J2 League. For the club he completed 86 league games. At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
