Kepínski is an impact crater on the back of the Earth's moon and therefore can not be observed directly from Earth . It is located northwest of Vernadskiy crater and northeast of Meggers .

The outer crater wall of Kepínski has been slightly eroded by subsequent impacts, especially on the south-western side. The inner walls slope down to the bottom of the crater without showing any special features. The crater floor is dominated by a centrally located, bowl-shaped crater, which is slightly offset to the northwest from the center. The diameter of this central impact is less than half that of Kepinski, although it too has a small outer wall.
