Infrastructure
The town hall in Kepahiang is conspicuous in terms of its design and dimensions and is therefore an attraction for visitors. The roof dome in the center of the building is enormous. In the event of an earthquake, the building was damaged somewhat, and the damage is not irreparable. For the restoration of the dome, however, skilled workers from outside are required.
The waterworks located about eleven kilometers from the city center of Kepahiang, which has a capacity of three times 70 megawatts, is a sight for those interested in technology. Since the plant is located on a river and in the middle of the forest panorama, it has become a destination for the local population in the region.
