The Kern AG (proper spelling CORE ) is a German language service based in Frankfurt am Main . The family finished 2019 ranked 25th in the ranking of the largest language service providers in the world by revenue in the year. In a Western European comparison, Kern AG took 5th place. In 2019, Kern AG took 33rd place in the ranking of the world's largest and best-selling providers of interpreting services by the market research company Nimdzi.
Manfred and Birte Kern founded the company in 1969 in Frankfurt am Main. There are 58 branches in Germany, Austria, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, the USA and China. In addition to translation and interpreting in all world languages, the services include language training and services in the field of information technology .
