Kero
Kero is the name of a legendary Benedictine monk who is said to have worked in the St. Gallen monastery in the 8th century .
According to older manuscript research, Kero is said to have written the so-called "Keronian glosses", a kind of Latin - German dictionary . This glossy manuscript is commonly known under the name " Abrogans ", named after the first word, the vernacular translation of which is "dheomodi". An interlinear version of the Benedictine rules is also said to come from him around 750. There are no documented references to Kero - in the 19th century it was proven that the author Kero is a fiction.
