Kerrygold

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kerrygold is a brand name for dairy products. Kerrygold is sold by Ornua Co-operative Limited, Dublin (founded in 1961, Irish Dairy Board until 2015 ), a cooperative company with approximately 14,000 Irish farmers.

Kerrygold butter in particular was originally sold in Europe. Later the product range was gradually expanded to include cheese and mixed spreads, long-life milk and cream liqueurs. According to the manufacturer, Kerrygold products are available in more than 70 countries.

The brand has been on the German market since 1973, now with butter, butter specialties, mixed fats such as “Kerrygold extra” (butter with rapeseed oil) and various types of cheese. In addition, portions of butter and cheese items are available for bulk consumers. In 2016 yoghurt products were launched.
