Kerstin Rosenberg (* 1967 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German author who deals with the Indian medicine Ayurveda .

biography

During her youth, Kerstin Rosenberg came into contact with yoga and Ayurveda in India, the country of origin . She learned the so-called "Ayurveda medicine" under SN Gupta MD (Ayu) at the JS Ayurveda College, Nadiad, and deepened her knowledge in Ayurveda dietetics and phytotherapy with a postgraduate course under the direction of Tanuja Nesari at the Tilak Ayurveda Collage, Pune.

In 1993 she and her husband Mark Rosenberg founded a center for yoga and Ayurveda under the name "European Academy for Ayurveda" in Birstein near Frankfurt am Main, where she has been a lecturer since 1996 and offers courses in Ayurvedic nutrition and therapy and psychology there. In the connected spa center, she has also been looking after patients since 1992 as part of health and nutritional advice.

Rosenberg is also involved in the board of the Association of European Ayurveda Medicine and Therapists eV (VEAT) and appears as a speaker at congresses and conferences on Ayurveda.

Rosenberg's areas of expertise are Ayurvedic nutrition (Ahara) and Ayurvedic therapy and herbal medicine (Dravyaguna). She has published thirteen books on these subjects. There have also been articles in magazines on the subjects of naturopathy, yoga and lifestyle.

Rosenberg is a mother of three.

Water boiling down

In October 2017, Rosenberg published the advice in the magazine Bild der Frau that water should be "boiled down" as this process rearranges the water molecules, condenses their molecular compound and intensifies the immune-boosting properties. This recipe, which contradicts the laws of nature, then went viral on the social networks.

In a post published in her Ayurveda blog on October 16, 2017, however, she stated that boiling water, especially in historical India, was primarily for hygienic reasons. She did not go into the causal relationships claimed in the woman's picture .
