Kevin Pritchard (windsurfer)

Kevin Pritchard (born January 30, 1976 ) is a former American professional windsurfer and multiple world champion .

Life

Pritchard began windsurfing in California at the age of 9 and became an American champion at the age of 15. In 1996 he made his debut in the Windsurf World Cup and four years later he won two world championship titles after narrowly missing out on the world championship title in 1998. He won both the overall and the race classification . In 2002 and 2006 he also won the wave world title . In 2014 he also won the American Windsurf Tour (AWT) (now IWT ) in wave riding .

Pritchard's brother Matt was also a professional windsurfer and world champion.
