Khalil Gibran Park

The Khalil Gibran Park is a public park in the Zokak el-Blat district of Beirut . It is located in front of the UN Economic and Social Commission for West Asia .

The 5572 square meter park was designed by the Lebanese landscape architect Mohamad Halawi and is named after the Lebanese-American philosopher and poet Khalil Gibran . It contains sculptures by Saloua Raouda Choucair and a bust of the writer designed by the Lebanese artist Rudy Rahmé .
