Khamtam

King Khamtam (full name Samdat Brhat-Anya Chao Kama Dharmasara , even Kham-Tam Sa, English transliteration also Khamtum * 14th century ; † 1432 / 1433 in Pak Huei Luang ) was the enmeshed in 1432 for a short time king in throne turmoil Rich Lan Chang in what is now Laos . He belonged to the Khun Lo dynasty .

Khamtam was the son of King Samsaenthai (r. 1372-1416 / 17) and his fourth wife, Chao Nang Keava Sridha . He was educated and instructed in the palace. He first ruled the province of Mueang Pak Huei Luang as governor, which is why he received the title Brhat-Anya Pak Huei Luang.

In 1432 Khamtam succeeded King Konekham on the throne, but fled for fear for his life after only five months and withdrew to Pak Huei Luang. He died there within a year. He left a son, Mui Ton-Kham . His successor was Lue Sai (r. 1432-1433).
