Kheswar Jankee

Kheswar Jankee (born April 21, 1961 ) is a Mauritian diplomat .

Life

In 1984 he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Delhi University , and in 1986 a Masters.

He returned to Mauritius and from 1988 worked as an economist in the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development. In the same year, however, he went to the Bank of Mauritius as a research officer , for which he worked until 1992. At the same time, he worked part-time as a lecturer in banking and finance at the University of Mauritius . In 1992 he became an associate professor at this university.

In 2000 he obtained a Master of Philosophy in Banking and Finance from the University of Mauritius, and in 2003 he received his PhD there. He is also a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Maryland. He also works with the World Association of Small and Medium Entreprises .

On September 23, 2015 he was accredited as ambassador to Germany based in the Mauritian embassy in Berlin . He was also accredited for Austria on May 10, 2017, and for the Czech Republic on June 20, 2017 .

Personal

Kheswar Jankee is married. He speaks English , French and Hindi .
