Chorloogiin bayan monk

Chorloogiin Bayan monk (born Mongolian Довчингийн Баянмөнх , Mongolian Хорлоогийн Баянмөнх ; born February 22, 1944 in Chjargas, Uws-Aimag , Mongolia ) is a former Mongolian freestyle wrestler.

Bayan monk took part in the Summer Olympics three times between 1968 and 1976. At the 1972 Summer Olympics , he won the silver medal in the heavyweight division after a final defeat against Russian Ivan Jarygin .

In 1975 he became world heavyweight champion in Minsk .
