Location of Kidron in Ohio

Kidron is an unincorporated community in southwestern Sugar Creek Township , Wayne County , Ohio , United States . The village is in the Amish area . The place is named after the brook Kidron from the Bible, which separates the old city from the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem .

Since the village has no administration of its own, the Wayne Countys Police take care of its protection. There is a source of groundwater in the city and a protected forest is nearby. Most of the surrounding landscape is used for agriculture. A small general elementary school is located in Kidron and is part of the Dalton School District. The Central Christian School is a private Mennonite school .
