Kien (resin)

As Kien is resin of pine (Kienbaum), respectively. It is particularly sticky and difficult to remove from skin and clothing. Its flammability (it contains turpentine ) is used in Kienspan . Pine wood with small resin inclusions is called kienig . The pine apple is the cone , i.e. the fruit cluster of the pine.
