Kieran Crotty

Kieran Crotty (born August 30, 1930 ) is an Irish politician and former member of the Dáil Éireann .

Crotty was first elected in 1969 for the Fine Gael in the 19th Dáil Éireann and was Teachta Dála for the next 20 years . For the elections for the 26th Dáil Éireann, he did not run.

In addition to serving as a MP, Crotty was elected mayor of Kilkenny for six one-year terms . Namely 1971, 1972, 1980, 1989 and 1990 as well as 1995.
